Today is the feast day for St. Teresa of Calcutta, known to all the world affectionately as Mother Teresa. She was born in 1910 as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia. Today is the second anniversary of her canonization by Pope Francis.
St. Teresa is the patron saint of World Youth Day and a heroic saint of our time. She answered our Lord’s call to “Come, be My light” and certainly served as a light to the poor, homeless and dying in Calcutta as well as countless millions she influenced around the world.

This year is the St. Hilary KofC council’s 10th Anniversary. We have donated $250,000+ over those ten years to a variety of parish and community causes. Last year was a record breaking year for donations and we expect 2018 to be even better!
If you are a Catholic man in good standing and 18 years or older, consider joining the Knights and bring light into our communities.
We are seeking volunteers for the Golf and Car committees. These are our largest events and we generate the majority of our funds through these events. We are able to give back to the community because of all your generous help. Reach out to Lou if you would like to join the team!

The St. Hilary parish Knights of Columbus Council #14551 made a donation to fellow Knight Jim Norton as he prepares for his 17th consecutive year as the “One Man Team” in area local Tallmadge Relay for Life.

Jim’s goal for this year is to raise $25,000. The St. Hilary Knights are proud to make a donation to Jim and this worthy cause.
